1978

Foundation of the company Botec-Scheitza by Arnold Scheitza in Eichenried near Munich.

1981

Relocation of the company to Velden/Vils (today’s production site). The first drilling machinery in Velden/Vils.

1994

Expansion of the product range to include oil field technology. Botec-Scheitza now produces drill pipe, machinery and accessories for oil drilling according to individual customer wishes.

2004

Son Ralf Scheitza joins the managing directors.

2005

Botec-Scheitza now supplies machinery for underground mining.

2008

Acquisition of highly modern CNC machinery. Expansion or construction of a new production hall. CAD- supported development.

2010

Order / service work in China, Russia and all of Europe.

2014

Production of highly modern and environmentally friendly drilling machinery according to the EURO 5 standard.

2017

Expansion of the production area by 2,500 sqm.
Expansion to include the engineering, system construction, steel and stainless steel departments.
